This may be too regional a question, but I'll give it a shot.
In Massachusetts, nonprofits in education are able to choose between the unemployment tax and a reimbursement system where you pay the Dept. for actual expenses incurred as they arrive. Has anyone dealt with the latter option? Any other suggestions for reducing the unemployment tax percentage? We've got a huge pool available and I'd love to whittle it down just a little. |
