Lifting a Wage Freeze

We are in the process of contemplating lifting our current wage freeze for 2010. The issue is that our employees have staggered review dates. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to lift the wage freeze equitably so that is fair to all employees?

Based upon the assumption that raises , when given before, were based upon review dates then I would simply start with the last review date used for increases, use the next review date NOT used, and start there.

Now may be a good time to implement an annual review date for everyone at the same time. Our firm uses a "one date for all" approach and it works very well for us.

Or you could give a very slight bump across the board while resuming your review dates.

Our organization has staggered review dates by department.
