We just acquired another company and are in the processes of assimilating new managers. Any suggestions as to what we should be including in the "Aquired employee" onboarding?

Why would it be any different that hiring a new worker? the only change I can see would be if they are getting credit for prior service towards certain benefit plans. Then this should be highlighted as positive additional benefit towards joining your team.

If you haven't done so already I would also suggest getting them involved in projects and initiatives with management from the acquiring company. This builds good relationships which helps create successful acquisitions.

We actually had a great Onboarding Best Practices white paper go out that got a ton of traction and has continued to generate a lot of interest because the information in it is so valuable, and I definitely think it's applicable to an organization in your position,

There are a lot of variables to consider in such a situation. My own organization is considering the acquisition of a long-time rival, so it is a very relevant question to us as well. Will the acquisition be integrated into the purchasing organization or will it be a subsidiary? Regardless, sending the aquired staff through an NEO is just one step; and not even the first one. Communication needs to happen for the new employees BEFORE the aquisition actually takes place.
