We currently have a Resource Center on our intranet that includes not only company news/benefits/forms, but also a virtual Bulletin Board for employees to share pictures, sell items, etc.
Management is concerned that events and/or items posted on the Bulletin Board are viewed as being endorsed by the company. Therefore I have been tasked with creating a disclaimer for the Resource Center.
Here is what I have:
Company accepts no liability for any loss or damage, consequential or otherwise, incurred in relation to the material in these pages. The information on this site is for information purposes only and is not intended as an endorsement by the Company or as professional advice of any kind.
I welcome any thoughts and/or suggestions you may have.

I am of the opinion that personal matters should be kept out of the workplace and only HR/management-approved items should end up on the bulletin board. Too many chances for things that have nothing to do with work/the company going wrong. I am not sure a disclaimer would protect the company from either unions or problems.
That said, I'd be a little cautious of what is allowed on the board overall. Mostly because of how soliciations of unions happen. It is my understanding (however small) that if you allow solicitations by outside groups, then if a union came knocking, you would have to allow them access too.
You also could have potential issues with religious/political events that seem to be endorsed by the company, etc.
Many employers stay away from public bulletin boards for good reasons.
