Hi, I need to create a new employee handbook. Does anyone know of any companies that offer this service or has anyone used the software to help you create an employee handbook? If so, can you please

If you are in California, the California Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful product that is very reasonably priced. Also, The Employer's Group provides terrific help in this area as well, but I believe you need to be a member.

But finally, I have used a software program called Policies Now! in the past and found it to be really easy to use, very current and under $200. I just searched for it and discovered that Knowledge Point sold all of their HR products to Administaff. I couldn't easily find the latest publication dates on the software so you'll want to call them to see when they were last updated. What's nice about the software though is if you are multi-state - you can choose that option to create up to 6 different handbooks that comply by state (or by company, or Exempt and Non-Exempt, etc.). In my opinion, all of the products were terrific, super easy to use, priced very well and made these daunting projects incredibly manageable. I've used Policies Now! Descriptions Now! and Performance Now! (which help you develop an employee handbook, job descriptions and create performance reviews). Of course, as with anything - definitely have your final Draft THOROUGHLY reviewed by an Employment Law Attorney in your respective State(s) to ensure full compliance with BOTH State and Federal Law! Here is the link to the Policies Now! product:

Good luck!
