My source shows that NJ has no provision for it. So it would up to your company policy. You might check with an employment law attorney to see what you want your policy to be. There are pros and cons to either way. If you refuse, it looks like you might have something to hide. If you show everything, then you have to be very viligent about what makes it into a personnel file.

This would be a good time to sit down and develop a policy inline with your management philosophy. Giving employees copies of anything they have reviewed and signed is, IMO, a good business practice and a good starting point.
