I am interested in knowing what type of documentation others use to confirm receipt of important documents that are hand delivered to HR. Do you date stamp the document and AUTOMATICALLY provide the employee a date stamped copy? Do you only provide a date stamped copy IF REQUESTED by the employee? Do you provide the employee a copy of a written receipt describing the document? Do you have some other means of providing the employee confirmation of receipt of important hand delivered documents? (by important documents, I mean documents that could potentially have significant legal ramifications such as FMLA, ADAA, Workers comp, formal grievances, resignation letters, etc.)
