I work for a academic medical center and we are looking at implementing a new peer review policy. Looking for something that's simple, effective, and has been utilized and well received. If you have such a policy and are willng to share an example of the key elements it would be appreciated. The few samples I've seen are so convuluted with details, an HR practioner would find it hard to navigate through, never mind the average employee. E-mail is julimig2003@aol.com. Many thanks.

Years ago we had one at a large consulting firm. Let's see what I can remember LOL.

One person did the work and wrote the original draft
One person reviewed for technical accuracy
Another person reviewed fo grammatical and formatting accuracy

Not a single document went out unless the reviewed copy with signatures was attached. All our admins were trained not to send anything out without it.

If something was found wrong later, all three were responsible for it generally.

We had special ink stamps that had a place for each person to initial the reviewed copy. This was way before all the technology now. I suspect with document retention policies depending on how you keep your drafts, you could store the reviewed copies electronically with signatures.
