I find myself working with a peer, who happens to be a bully. So far, I have taken the high road and not completely fought back. My boss is aware but he is nexperienced. Let me give you one example...

Let me give you one example.....

I was in a meeting with this person and some of my staff. To help explain my point, I had written on my pad the example and outlined the concern. Her response was to cross out my example several times and state these concerns are not important.

So what would be a proper response to this level of unprofessionalism?

I would start my document in his actions. Then I would go with the documentation to my supervisor thto adress the issue. If this did not work I wouldn't go to my employee relations person. Bullies of all type even in the workplace have to be called out in order to stop their actions.

I'd make sure my supervisor was behind me 100% and then (gently) call her out. In your situation, I would stop my sentence, look directly at her and ask "why did you do that?" or "could you explain why you xxxx'd?"  And I would consider only having her at meetings where her presence is required!  Otherwise do an agenda and meeting notes and forward those to her.
