We operate in 12 states. I have many resources such as legal updates, SHRM newsletters, local associations and organizations, and I receive a lot of emails and newsletters. I have to pull information for our headquarters, where I'm at. But I don't always have the other 11 states information readily accessible. What one source do you recommend that you can select and choose the states that you operate in to receive the necessary information! Thank you in advance for your input.

Bureau of National Affairs, or BNA worked well for me years ago - back when you got an endless series of paper updates to insert into however many binders you ordered. Mercifully you don't have to do that anymore since it's all online.

But pricey.

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
