Looking for some guidance. I have an emp that is currently on FMLA and CA SDI. Her FMLA will run out the end of the month but she will still be on CA SDI. My question is...because she is still on SDI

Looking for some guidance. I have an emp that is currently on FMLA and CA SDI. Her FMLA will run out the end of the month but she will still be on CA SDI. My question is...because she is still on SDI do I have to keep her insurance going as I've done during FMLA or do I offer her Cobra?

FMLA and SDI are two different things. SDI is simply disability insurance and it can last for a lot longer than FMLA.
The question you need to be asking is whether or not the California FMLA offers more protection than federal. The one with the greater benefit applies.
