Hi,I guess I was vague on the first posting so here are a couple of examples. We have an older employee having some major health problems with knee issues, back (disk) issues, weight etc.Was put on restrictions from the physician not to lift, push, pull more than 10 lbs-the job description does state more and I am thinking that pulling a chair out from the table to sit and have lunch weighs probably about 10 lbs? What would you do in this case scenerio?

Number 2:We have an employee we sent to get a Fit for Duty exam, reason for this was she was wheeling herself around to do her job in an office chair up and down the halls.Which is definetely not in this employees job description. We did get the physicians report with some restrictions and given 3 months to lose 30 lbs,and other health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure needed addressed. What do we do as an employer if this employee has not accomplished what the Fit For Duty Exam physician required. Please note we are an At-Will employment facility. What would you do in this case scenerio?

You don't have to start a new thread (in fact you shouldn't, it just makes things very confusing for us) just because you want to elaborate on what you said in a previous thread.
