Must employers pay for time at Physical Therapy?

An employee injured their arm on the job, and has been directed into PT 3x's/wk in the Occ Health Clinic; though can still work FT w/ lifting restrictions. Is a MI company required to pay for the time

Must employers pay for time at Physical Therapy?

An employee injured their arm on the job, and has been directed into PT 3x's/wk in the Occ Health Clinic; though can still work FT w/ lifting restrictions. Is a MI company required to pay for the time spent at PT when it occurs during the employee's normal work schedule?

Depends on what Michigan state law says. Things in Michigan being what they are, I'd venture yes.

But check with your WC carrier - they'll know for sure.
