In Response to Firing from job: Worked for USFOODS from03/01/2002 thur 09/23/2012. Was under FMLA for seizures. Even though i had this medical issue, company allowed me to work in a warehouse position for 4 years, untill they changed my postion back to customer service where i began starting with company. After returning to customer service had seizure and was released with no warning or write ups for performance issues. Posted by ralphjones This is a site for workforce managers and HR professionals. www.laborlawtalk.com is also another good website for help. That said, have you filled out all the paperwork for FMAL and each year done the recertification of need? Have you worked enough hours in the past year (1250) to be currently eligible? If so, you might want to contact the DOL "Filing a complaint - DOL's Wage and Hour Division manages complaints regarding violations of the various laws and regulations it administers. To file a complaint concerning one of these laws, contact your nearest Wage and Hour Division office or call the Department's Toll-Free Wage and Hour Helpline at 1-866-4-US-WAGE." |
