This article might help a bit: https://store.legalworkplace.com/ahiStore1/login.aspx?ekcsid=624&LoginRedir=1&ReturnURL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.legalworkplace.com%2fchild.aspx%3fid%3d624

It is free but you do have to register to get it.

It does talk more in terms of what states owe at termination, but that in effect can also mean that it talks about when the vacation time is earned. Often once it is deemed earned, that means that 'use it or lose it" policies come into play too.

I know that TX does not have such a law.

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
