Is it legal to ask a job applicant, who has disclosed the fact that she is getting married soon (April) how much time off she anticipates upon hiring? We have an applicant that would be a great

I would phrase it in the context of whether or not she's available to work the next 30 days and simply leave out the marriage/honeymoon part. And not everyone leaves the wedding reception immediately for the honeymoon - lots of people either don't do the honeymoon or they have it at some point in the future. Posted by nork4 Thank you so much. This makes a total difference in our hiring. Hopefully she will be planning on a honeymoon in a few months, when spring actually happens.
