As a recognition solutions provider for large organizations, we've been working on a multi-year research and pilot project to see if the data exhaust from employee recognition programs can deliver meaningful correlations with engagement, in real-time.

For over 3 years, we've been working on a predictive analytics model using certain employee data points from clients to see if we can actual PREDICT the future state of employee engagement and its negative or postive outcomes on retention, performance, productivity, absenteeism, etc., with the hope of applying effective intervention leading to the prevention of the workplace malady.

The results have been staggering.  Although I can't share the specifics in a public forum, I would like to share the information with others that have been exploring or developing their own in-house analytics and compare notes.

And, even more importantly, we are looking for companies that might be interested in participating in an expanded pilot project.  If you have any interest in learning more about the research or seeing if your company would qualify for a pilot, please don't hesitate to contact me, GordGreen@Rideau.com.

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
