To avoid employee's activity that might lead to negative image /prejudice/misperception, is it worth to "attack" them in everyday counselling. I am trying to sit in in as many outlet/department briefings, and investing the time for at least 2 hours a day to listen, speak, courage and praise.
Communication gap may happen if they have grievances and we are too late to respond. By having everyday counselling with the employee, at least they realize that we are there for them!

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
