I have an employee who believes that someone is shooting laser beams at the back of her head which is causing her hair to fall out. She also thinks that whomever is shooting her at work, is also shooting her through the walls of her home and electricuiting her. Our HR Director has talked to her and suggested that she see her family physician, but she said she would rather see a phsycic. We don't have an EAP, and I'm concerned about the mental stability of this individual. Any suggestions?

Have her see a dermatologist for the hair loss, it is a common problem, alopecia.
I think she wants to have the insurance company pay the cost of her favorite psychic.

Daily Q&A
How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?
Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
