I am an Operations Manager and have many times been given responsibility for creating new operations and training manuals because there is no budget for purchasing training resources. I have created these documents for different subjects of training but find no reason to re-create the wheel if it is in an area general to facility management. In this case Janitorial or Housekeeping. Does anyone know where a person can access this kind of information without having to spend hundreds of dollars.

Try doing a web search. or askjeeves.com. That is a search engine that I have found to be helpful at times.

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
