I am wanting to get my certification and I am looking for people in my area (Peoria, IL) to work with and bounce ideas off when I am certified. Does anyone now of a group like this or how to start one

I am wanting to get my certification and I am looking for people in my area (Peoria, IL) to work with and bounce ideas off when I am certified. Does anyone now of a group like this or how to start one. Any suggestions will be helpful

I belong to the ETHRA, an affiliate of SHRM. ETHRA is a local group that was organized to bring HR people together to discuss workplace issues and solutions. You may try contacting SHRM to see if there is a similar group in your area. Good luck!
