Does anyone have a credible source for statistics regarding the bottom line effect of employee personal issues like divorce, marriage issues, alcohol & drug use / abuse, problem children etc, etc.? I am trying to provide statistical proof for the relevance of some sort of EAP program at my company. The leadership responds to ROI speak (as most do) so I am trying to provide that. Thank you for your help.

Daily Q&A

How Do We Keep Our Best During Upheaval?

Things are getting scary for us. We recently had to downsize, and since then have lost some of our best people to other jobs. Aside from boosting their pay (which isn't feasible now), what practical steps can we take to keep them from quitting on us?
