Hello All,
I need some suggestions on how to determine an agents seniority order. In the past, my companies have used the agents hire date and the last 4 digits of their social security number or the agents hire date and DOB to determine seniority ranking. We have just been advised that we can no longer use the two options of the social or DOB to determined senioty. We cannot use the agents last name because that can change and other company provided numbers like employeed ID's, department codes or scheduling ID because that is all company assisnged. What else is there to use?

We use the test scores they obtained during training to rank them - failing having that information, a random number is sometimes used

We use random numbers, and that seems to work pretty well.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
