I'm sure you'll get a lot of response from those whose business it is to market these tools.  My $0.02 is that I place no credibility in them unless they are designed to test a specific job-related skill (Word, Excel etc) .

Virtual Interviewing is best suited for filtering / screening of candidates before you call them for on-one-on interviews. There are many benefits to live and recorded video interviewing:

1) Interviewer can ask same questions to multiple candidates
2) Interviewer and candidate can save time, money and effort on travelling
3) Recorded interviews can be viewed repeatedly and shared with other team members.
