Revalidation of Employment Testing

I have a question regarding how often our agency should revalidate our test.  We currently use a computer based program to screen applicants for a public safety telecommunicator position.  We just recently completed the validation and have shown no adverse impact for the past 100 applicants. Apparently that is not good enough for our department, and they want us to revalidate the test every year.  Does anyone have any advice on how often we should technically revalidate the test?
