My company is in the process of streamlining our applicant correspondence. I am interested in finding out what letters other companies send out for acknowledgment, rejection, unsolicited resumes, etc.

Please email me at cyndit@telect.com or fax your info to 509-344-7537 (my personal computer's fax). Thank you for your help!

One common practice that shouldn't be: Don't send notices of non-acceptance, ones that indicate position for which candidate applied, etc.. nor any other "sensitive" information, on a postcard.
Think of the candidate - in a small town, even information on a resume being submitted to a particular company or geographical area becomes post-office gossip. Unfortunate, but reality.

Recently I embarked on a similar venture and I must say I got the best response card from a company called PerSeptive Biosytems. It was a folded postcard style witha black background and a blue circular swatch of color(looked like a microscope slide effect) and in big white letters was the phrase "We Got It!" Then you opened up the cover and the verbiage was Thanks for applying to PerSeptive Biosystems, your application is being reviewed, a blurb about PerSeptive Biosystems and a continued messgae about maintaining resume on file and appreciating interest. This was printed on a black background with white letter and some were blue. Very eye catching! Not your average acknowledgement.
