Does anyone have any suggestions/feedback regarding recruiting software? I am looking for something that would allow me to create requisitions and feed them to specific websites and import resumes from the websites so that I can manage the tracking through the software.

Thanks!

Check out RecruitSoft. They have an excellent array of applicant tracking and recruiting tools.

Great! I have actually used RecruitSoft and loved it. I am at a new company and they are wanting several options to look over and choose one that makes sense for our company. Any other suggestions?

We've done some recruiting package selections for our clients. Some you may want to include on your list are: peopleclick, brassring, recruiting solutions, and webhire. You probably also want to consider the recruiing offering of the HRMS that is already implemented at your company. For example, if you have PeopleSoft, you may want to look seriously at eRecruit.

We use Webhire and love it. The electronic requisition function is friendly, intuitive, and, best of all, easy for the hiring managers to use. It has some limitations but don't they all?

Stay away from Softshoe (a Hotjobs product). Quite limited in functionality.

Actually most of the recruiting software is compatible with enterprise systems like people soft, and SAP. So that isn't really so much of an issue.

If you do look at one of these systems I think an important consideration is to look at their partners and see if you can get some wrap around consulting services for the delivery of the product. Most of these type of firms have great software engineers but zero project management expertise.

Good luck

Has anyone used Bullhorn or WebPas? We are currently looking at these. Bullhorn seems to be very user friendly whereas WebPas is a bit more complex.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
