We use a company called e-verifile out of Atlanta.....www.e-verifile.com relatively inexpensive and a smaller company so we don't have any problems getting a CS person on the phone that is knowledgeable.Feel free to email me with any further questions @ ross@priority-sales.com

We use US Datalink (www.usdatalink.com). They are great. We used to use HireRight. On numerous occasions they proved to be inaccurate in took a very long time. In many cases, I would end up calling references, schools, or even DVMs myself- what do you expect for people getting minimum wage over seas? |

There are hundreds (if not thousands) of screening companies out there - and I'd say the ones mentioned in this thread are pretty reputable.
Whoever you go with, just be sure you're getting more than just a database search. Some companies (especially the online only companies) will just return criminal records, DUI records, etc. that are in their database. The problem is that not all courthouses submit their records to a database. It's imperative that the company does an in-person check at courthouses where the person lives and works (and previous locations they've lived/worked).
