I had an interview for a management position. I was the only candidate they invited for the interview because in my telephone interview, hiring manager was very impressed with my experience and qualifications but in penal interview, I think I could not impress the interviewers. They did not extend the offer to me for the position. Since than I have seen company ad for the same position and keep extending the due date. May be they are not getting the right resume. My question is: Is there any chance that company may come back and reconsider me for the job they rejected me the first time?

Remote chance in all probability. There was clearly something they didn't like in the interview or perhaps the hiring manager didnt' fully understand the needs of the other panel members for this position.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
