We would like to build a virtual bench of candidates that we could call upon if a customer needs a certain skill set. We have a contract recruiter who usually works on an hourly basis. If she comes across a qualified candidate and provides the resume to us that we eventually give to our customer, we thought we would pay her a certain amount upon hire and another amount after a period of time, say 6 months. Is this a general practice, and if so, what amounts are standard?
