How to Structure Start Up Executive Recruiting Firm

I am setting up an Executive Recruiting Firm and I would appreciate some ideas on how to structure the practice. In the best of worlds, I am thinking I would need a practice lead with a full cycle recruiter, a sourcer and an events planner (campus/focused recruting)

If you have examples or models of how large international firms are structured, I would appreciate it.

If you are a start up without a standing book of business you need 1 person. That would be you.

My opinion is not to start a search firm unless you already have business.

I've seen too many people go down this road assuming business would come to them.

I have managed and built recruiting firms twice over. To get a real needs assessment, a little more information will be needed. I would venture to guess that you personally have recruiting experience.. due to the statement that you have clients already, correct?

I am a retained recruiter and have been in the business for a few years. I also have high volume business with local and international clients. I am interested in developing a business that delivers online recruitment and retained search. Any ideas for structuring would be helpful. Thanks.
