Our company has been calculating it's employment turnover rate for several years. Management is interested if there are standard turnover rate averages with which we can compare our turnover. Does anyone know where I can find this information?
If someone could please let me know where to find the information needed above, I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

As you might imagine the "average Turnover rate" will vary significantly from industry to industry. You will need to go on line and research this carefully.
You will also need to make sure you understand how the companies differentiate (if they do) between voluntary and involuntary turnover.

Depends where you are located if the local HR management association publishes data by industry. Research this site some too.
We encourage our clients to set their own benchmarks for voluntary turnover and in Hong Kong here it can be very high in many sectors as people move to new jobs for small dollars something I have not seen in North America for many years.

Daily Q&A
How to Address Flagging Motivation?
How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
