We're curious to know what Oracle's pending purchase of HR software firm Taleo means to you. And for that matter, SAP's deal to buy SuccessFactors. Is this going to affect your people management systems? Is this consolidation beneficial to the end-users? Would like to get your thoughts.

Probably is going to require future updated software ($$$).  Many company HR directors have decided to hire data miners to "find/Mine" talent off the Social Media(SM) sites and using employee referal programs and forget about postings. SM is coming on strong - Reputation management software is a must for all of us today especialy when Google is involed - You Are What Google Says You Are!
