Has anyone heard of Workscape? Has anyone used their services or products? Any other company that can provide me an ESS & MSS web based system?

I have been looking at several. I don't know exactly what your particular needs are, but some I like include: simpata.com, employease.com, and employeematters.com. I also liked ebenefits.com, which is designed for small business and it is free. Since I am still looking at sites, please let me know if you find any additional ones that look promising.

A couple of things I discovered: make sure you know the exact costs up front. Some sites have you pay for each service separately (e.g. benefits, payroll, etc.), and so the costs add up quickly. Also, some sites make you use their vendors, and if you have relationships built with your current service providers, this feature may not be appealing.

Good Luck!

I don't know workscape. You should check PWA It has a very powerfull ESS and MSS. Integrated interface with their HRIS. My company is now building an employee benefits module in it.

I've used both their services and product. They are the result of the break-up of Edify - Workscape provides web/IVR self-service solutions for Human Resources, both employee and manager self-service.

They also provide fully hosted solutions, I've contracted with them for hosted benefits open enrollment for both web and IVR.

Some other companies to look at are iClick (just purchased by CFN, a web procurement/financials company), Concur Technologies (another web procurement company which bought Seeker), and Icarian (specializes in employee competency management). There's many others, but these are some of the big players.

Please include Interlynx Technologies on
your list of ESS/MSS vendors. You can view their product information at www.interlynx.com

I have seen most of them. Workscape not only bought Edify but they also bought Noah Software which had a pretty slick salary administration module.

Alot will depend on your HRIS system and how easily the add-on will integrate with that system. The big guys, PeopleSoft, Oracle and SAP have their own solutions. Companies like Interlynx (I really liked their UI the best) don't care about the back end and have been able to integrate with the bigger HRIS systems.

Workscape has a good reputation. Question is, Are you looking for ESS and MSS to be separate from your HRIS or fully integrated? If integrated, check out Spectrum HR.

Jenise, how large a company are you. For companies over 100 employees, SPECTRUM has an integrated HRIS with ESS and MSS that is worth looking at.

I would look at Link2HR. It is the old SeekerSoft solution that was acquired by MBH Solutions. See www.Link2HR.com

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
