Check out OrgPlus from www.humanconcepts.com and org publisher from www.timevision.com

You have to check out OrgPublisher by TimeVision (www.timevision.com)! We are a 9000 employee company and I can build a chart of the entire company with OrgPub in 15 minutes! All you need to know is who reports to who in your company - no complex trees or reporting relationship structures. Just A reports to B and B reports to C. You can publish to your Intranet or company web site and you can add in whatever extra fields you need (phone numbers, mail stops, e-mail addresses, pictures, etc.). TimeVision offers a fully-functional trial version of the software on their website. This is my favorite software EVER! I highly, highly recommend it.

We are using orgchart for Visio by officework software. It's microsoft's automated solution for org charts with publishing to share point, web, PDF and ppt. Also gives full data refresh and automation capability.

My boss likes Visio but has run into limitations on complex charts.   I use MS Publisher, a bit more labor-intensive but can make it do anything I need.
