Have you spoken with your ADP rep? They have a good product in Etime clock that tracks down to the job # level. ETimesheet works well for us with our salaried people as they can use it at their PC's. We had swipe cards programmed to work with both our door security system and the Timeclocks. Everything uploads to PC Payroll from ADP.

We in our organization are using eResource Scheduler(www.eresourcescheduler.com/) which is a good resource planning software. The software has a time sheet module which tracks the actual time spent on different projects by the resources. Along with that the softwarea comes with a whole lot of features such as drag and drop scheduling, resource and project profiling, niche detailed reporting.

If you were to take my advice, give it a try, i think they offer a fully functional trial as well.
