Our company Currently has aroud 530 employees, and we are looking for a Solution for Payroll & HR, to eliminate the double entry.

Currently HR is using Abra and they are happy with it, and Accounting is using ADP E-Time. We tried ADP EZ-LABOR and our accounting dept hated it. Our accounting dept found it lacking almost every feature our sales person sold us on it.

We are in the process of reviewing ADP Enterprise & ADP HR or Chronos Suite with Payroll and HR.

According to the Chronos Rep they Purchased the Source Code of Abra and Integrated into there Time & Attendence, and that ADP uses Chronos Time Attendence, ADP Partnership.

Is anyone using the chronos system and what our your opinions is anyone using ADP Enterprise with ADP HR, and what are your opinions.

Auto-quiz.com has a site that directs all your applicants to a site customized by you to store all your resumes, filter through resumes looking for keywords listed by you for each job position and technically screen applicants. We've used it for two years now and i think they have about 17 other companies using it, they are growing pretty fast, we were one of the first users! we love it!

I am slightly biased, but I would have to recommend Effortless HR Software, A web based human resources software which provides employee management, time tracking, labor laws, compliance posters, benefits management, and property management. We have a strong focus towards small businesses who cannot afford the expensive software that is on the market.

Thanks for all the recommendation but then I built something that I like even better:

http://backbonehr.com

Besides traditional HR features like Attendance Tracking, Expense Reporting and Goal Management, we also integrate numerous Web 2.0 features into this application. In short: Backbone will completely transform the way you collaborate with people in your company.

In the interests of full disclosure: I'm a director of a hr software company called HR Locker but you might find our service useful and cost effective especially if you have less than 500 employees.
We're one of the few companies that offer a free 30 day trial of our hr software system.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
