Hi There,
It seems like you have taken on a large task. We have gone through the process of selecting a recruiting tool ourselves and we provide our consulting services for selecting H/R solutions to our clients. The first step is to access your current company requirements. You may want to start by some basic questions, such as: o How big is the company? o Who will use the tool? o What will the tool be used for? Identify processes and/or use cases. This is a very critical step. Look beyond the obvious uses of the tool and investigate the opportunities to bring efficiency to current process/ operations. o Would other branches, departments, divisions, or global locations be using the same tool? If so, how different are their needs? o Do other branches or divisions already have a similar tool? If so, can that be shared with you? o Would you want a web-based solution (ASP) or an in-house solution? o Who are the vendors out there? What is their profile, their clients, etc. o Do you have predefined budget already? You are welcome to send us your questionnaire if it does not require more that a few minutes of our time. Good luck, Bud Derakhshani www.careermatch.ca |
