Web-based Time and Attendace
Discuss how to choose system that will yield the best results, as well as how to maintain it, and how to calculate its return on investment.
Does anyone have a web-based time and attendance company/product to recommend? We are currently looking at Time America. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Try API( Automated Peripherals Inc.) based in Wisconsin. We have this system and use the TimeCall or a phone based system. They have a web based product also.

Although not yet web enabled you still might want to take a look at Present - available from www.exclusisoft.com . It is an easy to use and inexpensive visual system that will help you not only keep track of attendance, but will assist you with compliance with each individual's entitlements, and with planning staff vacations. It is flexible, allowing you to keep track of the absence leaves/categories you want and time banks (overtime...). Present can be used centrally, decentralized, or a combination of the two - as you see fit.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
