I'm working on a project where my customer needs workflow management capabilities. Can anyone tell me if Ultimate Software, Kronos, Cort Directions, PDS Software, or others have workflow capabilities,

Workflow in HRMS software

I'm working on a project where my customer needs workflow management capabilities. Can anyone tell me if Ultimate Software, Kronos, Cort Directions, PDS Software, or others have workflow capabilities, both for HR type functions as well as non HR functions? Thank you! Cheryl

You may want to look at Perspective with ADP. We use it here (HR) and with our managers when it comes to time card approvals.

We are currently reviewing Ultimate software and Kronos. Ultimate has workflow capabailities in its current system. Kronos has it partially now but will have much more in its next release.

Both SAP and SCT have workflow capabilities. We are current SCT customers and are switchng to SAP

You may also want to look at Midrange Software. I am a consultant working with several customers who are using their solutions and are very happy with their products and services.

The new Abra Workforce Connections product from Best Software includes workflow tools with its employee self service and automated alerting features.

Many vendors (service bureau) will have workflow- but will not offer to sub 1k ee accounts. Depending on your employee count- if you are over 1k employees- they options are many and the value high.

I know Cort Directions has workflow built in...as do most of the other solutions you described. The best fit depends on what type of workflow you need. ie...time approval, TOB requests, Pay changes, benefit enrollment, etc...
