I'm working on a project where my customer needs workflow management capabilities. Can anyone tell me if Ultimate Software, Kronos, Cort Directions, PDS Software, or others have workflow capabilities,

I am currently in the process of evaluating HRIS solutions and the best middle market system that I've seen regarding workflow is by NuView HR Systems, Inc. It has recently won several technology awards for its flexibility and ease of use for non-technical users. You may also want to look at Sage Abra and a 3rd party product by the name of HR Actions which can basically eliminate paper forms from most processes.

I'm sure there are numerous other systems depending upon the complexity of your needs, but you might want to give these a look.
