Discuss how to choose system that will yield the best results, as well as how to maintain it, and how to calculate its return on investment.
Hello, I would like advise on choosing an applicant tracking system. I have used Recruitsoft(Taleo) previously, and liked it; however, that was at a big company and now I work for a small company.

Hello,

I would like advise on choosing an applicant tracking system. I have used Recruitsoft(Taleo) previously, and liked it; however, that was at a big company and now I work for a small company. I spoke with a representative from Taleo and they have no interest in working with us, since the company is too small to take up their time. We have about 20 employees and 30 independent contractors working at any time; our current database has over 1500 candidates and we have very agressive growth plans.

Can anyone recommend a good applicant tracking system that will still be useful in a few years when we have grown substantially?

Thank you,
Sue

Sue, we've been using Mploy for about 5 years and it is one of the most intuitive ATS' I've used. Totally web based, quick, and they really listen to their clients for ways to keep improving their product. All web-based and extremely easy to use.
Their web address is www.mploy.com
They've impressed us.

I agree with Joe. Mploy is a great product. It is the easiest tool I have ever used. The screens are clean and candidate registration is very fast. It does not bog your workday down, like some systems.

A co-worker of mine built an access database that has built in reproting tools and it is great for our small company since we only have about 400 corporate people.

Hi! It sounds like TalentPen would be a good fit for you, it's a new talent collection and management system that lets you collect talent with your website, and has matching tools on the back end so you can find candidates using qualifications and personality traits you want. It grows with you, and is easy to get started with. www.talentpen.com
