I used to work at PeopleSoft and would strongly advise you to find a solution that meets your needs and integrates with PeopleSoft. Personally, I like onCore by RTIX Americas because it links performance management and training.

I am in a similar situation... Our HR department is currently looking into performance management software that is web based, which will work well with our HRIS system (SAP). We need remote capability and want to move away from paper forms. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I personally found the best non ERP option to be Softscape who I found out about through gartner. They seem to have the most complete solution with more depth than Halogen or Success Factors but there is a higher cost. We are evaluating the increased benefit versus the higher cost but they are our strategic choice if we can get it approved.

PeopleMetrix by nexus vista is a joke! The product is garbage. It was as if a team of highschool students developed it. A word of warning: look else where.

As a provider of ASP software to manage rewards and recognition programs, including online training / education, which is the topic of this thread, can I please ask what the biggest challenges are with connecting other dbase/software products with PeopleSoft? Many of our clients use PS and we are currently exporting data from PS and importing it into our dbase. However, being that XML and Webservices seem to be a better way to integrate, I'm wondering, have any of you tried this with other vendors and if so, how is it going? We're currently rewriting our software in ASP.NET and would love to be able to make integration with PS easier.
Thanks
Carol

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
