Does anyone know of a site with guidelines or standards concerning Payroll Outsourcing? We currently process Payroll in-house, and probably will continue to do so, but will have been deligated to look at outsourcing prices. Is there any site or information about number of employees that outsourcing is best suited for? |

I am the newly appointed President of the Inpependent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA). The IPPA is the largest industry group of its kind and our board is dedicated to promoting integrity in our industry. We are in the process of putting together a set of required standards for all of our members. I would be happy to send you a preliminary set of guidelines. Also, once they are completed, they will be posted at www.ippa.net.
