I am wondering if there is anyone out there that has gone through the excercise of converting from Oracle to SAP HR systems? Were there any major gains or losses in the functonality with the switch?
Your insight will be much appreciated.

Radha,
I'd be interested in knowing what the shortcomings are for you with Oracle to have you looking at SAP. Could it be a matter of not utilizing Oracle to it's fullest, or is there missing functionality that you need?

I'm an Oracle implementor (work for an Oracle partner, not Oracle Corp).

Just curious,

I be interested in knowing why you are pondering the switch too. We have Oracle HR (since 2002) and we are a small company. I have recently been charged with researching if this is really the right HR application for us.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
