I am currently in the process of reviewing performance managment software and I've looked at Halogen, Success Factors, and several other vendors. However, I'm leaning towards a system by the name of onCore 2006 by RTIX due to its breadth of functionality as it also integrates a Learning Management system and they are also including a Sucession Planning and Compensation Planning module. You can get this additional functionality with the other vendors, but it is usually through a third party vendor and the cost is significantly more.
I would like to hear from anyone that is familiar with this product. Thanks in advance!!

Hi your comments have been helpful to me since I too am attempting to make this decison for my company. I have only seen success factors and loved it. What were your views on it?

I eventually chose SuccessFactors as it appeared to be the most technically sound product which could be integrated with other systems (e.g. Learning Management). I am currently in the implementation phase and I can say the customer service has been very good.
However, if you buy the Mid-Size (Pro) version of the product, please be aware that customization is extremely limited so you need to make sure that you can live with the structure that exists in the product. We have learned that some of our processes will have to be performed off-line as certain functionality is limited to the Enterprise version.
This may not be an issue for you, but I just wanted to point out some of the issues that I have found. Overall, I think it is one of the better products on the market as long as you don't need a lot of customization.

Daily Q&A
How to Address Flagging Motivation?
How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
