Can't focus on programming details! help!

hi all

Ive been an IT programmer/architect for over 14 years. I have a lot of experience in this field and I love it.

But lately ... well since the last 2 years, Ive noticed I cant concentrate on details of anything I do. So I love to put the big picture together (architecture), but when it comes to putting detailed code into it, even though I love it, I cant bring myself to start working on it! I cant focus, and Im easily distracted with other non-work related stuff.

anyone else experience this?

Could it be that I should try to move into a higher architect-only level position?

Or is this burn out of coding? (I have had numerous breaks in my career, so I doubt this is it)

what else can it be? Am I just losing interest in IT?

any advice would be great appreciated. thanks in advance.
