Looking for feedback and input from people who have, within the past 3 years, implemented employee and manager self-service technology using ADP, Kronos, Ulti-Pro or Ceridian.

Specific areas of interest outside of standard self-service include the GL interface, use for performance mgmt and compensation modeling, streamlining hiring, and handling training and development enrollments.

Non-profits with complex funding streams especially preferred!

We implemented manager and employee self-service within the past year or so through Ceridian (we've been a long-time customer of theirs). Let me know what particular questions you have and I'll try to be of assistance.

The manager piece is look-up only and they have reports available to them. We'll be looking at more interactive manager pieces in early 2008.

Employee self-service was launched in October 2006 and is working well. Most of our firm is on direct deposit so they no longer get paper copies of their earnings statement.

We don't use our HRIS system yet for the other areas you mentioned, except for GL interface.

Although this post is pretty old, but if someone comes across, EmpXtrack is the most promising HR software with unique features. In some ways it is comparable with SaaS.
