You may want to make your evaluation use-case based. You're in the perfect position because you're just now evaluating vendors.
Write up 10 typical tasks you plan to perform with your new software. When you're going through the evaluation process, make each vendor show you each of those 10 tasks executed on their software. Once you see your business processes applied to each piece of software, I'm sure your choice will be easy. I am admittedly a little bias, but I'd have to say you should evaluate the smaller vendors too. Typically the larger vendors will be less responsive to requests.
