I screen a lot of software developers for my job and I haven't come across a screening tool quite like the AutoQuiz. Its a link that is sent to the applicant, they take this short written exam, then the exam is graded by top developers and sent back to me by the end of the day. I'm able to filter out unqualified candidates and spend much more time qualified ones to really focus on employability. The company also comes in and has all of your current developers take the exam so you can see how well their score compares. They have also have a great applicant management system you should check out. It filters through submitted resumes and rejects ones that lack keywords that you are looking for. The website is http://www.auto-quiz.com/ They also do screening for other types of engineers too. Hope that helps!

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
